Inheriting the founding
spirit and philosophy, we will
rebuild trust and move
towards the next stage of growth.

Based on the philosophy of "shining brightly ourselves and energizing others," Sunwels has supported the lives and lifestyles of each and every user through its PD House and other paid nursing homes, day services, group homes, welfare equipment rental, and pressure training programs.

The vision of our founders who built and nurtured this business, and the dedication of our staff who sincerely engage with our clients and their families every day, are invaluable assets to our company.

I will uphold and faithfully carry on the founder's philosophy of "shining brightly ourselves and energizing others" as a crucial foundation for future management.

Each individual takes pride and responsibility in their work, and thrives, demonstrating their full potential. This attitude energizes those around them and leads to better service for our clients and their families. We will not merely keep this philosophy in mind, but will put it into practice as the standard for our daily decisions and actions.

In light of the circumstances surrounding our company, we have received many critical opinions and criticisms from our customers. We take these seriously and are working to strengthen our compliance, internal controls, record-keeping and billing management, employee training, and governance systems.

Going forward, we will sincerely address the challenges we have faced, steadily rebuild trust, and take a new step towards sustainable growth, building upon the expertise and on-the-ground capabilities we have cultivated.

For many years, I was involved in social security administration, including the long-term care system, at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and local governments. After retiring, I continued to be involved in the medical and long-term care fields from the perspectives of systems, laws, and management, serving as a corporate officer, consultant, and outside director.

Drawing on our past experience, we will thoroughly implement highly transparent management practices that are faithful to the spirit of the system and allow us to explain our operations directly to society.

At the same time, without limiting ourselves to our own perspectives, we will listen to the voices of a wide range of people, including our users, their families, medical and care professionals, local residents, business partners, shareholders, and government agencies, and use the opinions and suggestions we receive to improve our services and management.

The value of Sunwels is created by our staff who work closest to our clients.

At each facility, staff members, including nurses, caregivers, and rehabilitation specialists, learn about Parkinson's disease and are dedicated to providing daily care while respecting the symptoms, life history, wishes, and desires of each resident.

I am truly proud of our staff who continue to provide professional care with pride and a sense of responsibility, even in challenging circumstances. Supporting and further enhancing that expertise and dedication throughout the company is a crucial responsibility of our new management structure.

One ideal is for people with Parkinson's disease to be able to continue living in their familiar communities and homes with their families.

On the other hand, as the illness progresses, support may be needed in a wide range of daily life activities. Providing this support for an extended period on your own places a significant physical, mental, and time burden on family members. Furthermore, it is often difficult for families and communities alone to provide 24-hour nursing and care, including nighttime and emergency situations.

As a result, some people are unable to find a place to live after completing hospital treatment, while others find it difficult to continue living at home and are unable to find housing that provides the necessary support.

We believe we have an important social mission to provide these individuals with safe and secure housing, as well as professional nursing, care, and rehabilitation services.

PD House is not a substitute for the community or family. We aim to be a resource that provides new living options for those who find it difficult to continue living at home, while collaborating with local medical and care professionals and families.

To consistently provide excellent service, a stable management foundation is essential. We will thoroughly adhere to the fundamentals of reliably providing necessary services, accurately recording them, and billing appropriately according to regulations. At the same time, we will focus our limited management resources on improving services for our users and developing our personnel.

Furthermore, we will place even greater importance on dialogue and collaboration with healthcare and nursing care professionals, local residents, business partners, shareholders, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

What we must protect are our founding principles, our philosophy of "shining brightly ourselves and energizing others," our expertise on the front lines, and the trust placed in us by our clients and their families.

We will not hesitate to make changes to what needs to be changed, taking into account the changing times, the evolving systems, and the feedback we receive from everyone.

Our goal is for our clients and their families to feel that choosing us was the right decision.

To enable staff to work with pride and a sense of fulfillment.

To be a company that continues to be needed by the community and society.

To achieve this goal, all executives and employees will work diligently and sincerely.

We would be grateful for your continued understanding and support of Sunwels, and we sincerely ask that you please share your honest opinions with us.
