Mission
with professional medical and nursing care, and rehabilitation.
The aim of this program is to maintain movement function and improve quality of life in a safe and secure environment even if one finds it difficult to live at home alone.
Providing services to solve the three problems
-
Medical care by visiting doctors specializing in neurology
Specialized medical care by a neurologist is particularly important in Parkinson’s disease.
PD House has organized a secure environment by cooperating with a neurology hospital, so patients can continue with their medical treatment by a specialized doctor visiting care system.
Moreover, we have organized medical teams of nurses and physical therapists in order to provide a safe, secure and enriching living environment. -
Rehabilitation programs specialized for Parkinson’s disease (supervised by specialists)
PD House has prepared a rehabilitation program supervised by specialists.
After moving in, we will conduct an assessment and provide rehabilitation and evaluation based on each resident’s condition. -
24-hour home nursing
Medication control is especially important for Parkinson’s disease.
The 24-hour availability of nurses ensures safe medication management, allows for appropriate monitoring of minor changes in symptoms and side effects and provides support for medication adjustment.
Medical treatment can also be provided in the facility, allowing residents to live peacefully under the guidance of visiting neurologists.
Coordination with medical specialists
- Advisory contracts and operational
coordination with top physicians -
We work extensively and closely with top Parkinson’s disease
research physicians toward the common goal of enriching

“Lecture on the Development of Home Healthcare Based on ICT Control”
Initiative to create safe and secure living environmentsHome Adaptation
In 2019, we started a joint research project with Professor Nobutaka Hattori and Associate Professor Genko Oyama of Juntendo University School of Medicine Department of Neurology to improve the QOL of patients with Parkinson’s disease and to create safe and secure living environments.
We believe that Parkinson’s disease requires not only the evolution of medicine and devices but also improving the housing environment.
These studies are being conducted in anticipation of increasing numbers of patients with Parkinson’s disease living alone in our fast-aging society so that the research can also be applied to homes.
